晝夜節(jié)律是指生命活動以約24小時為周期的內(nèi)在性節(jié)律。人類生命的多種行為和生理過程都受到了晝夜節(jié)律的嚴(yán)格調(diào)控,如激素分泌、體溫波動以及睡眠-覺醒等。晝夜節(jié)律紊亂與臨床疾病如睡眠障礙、多種代謝相關(guān)疾病以及神經(jīng)退行性疾病等的發(fā)生密切相關(guān)。
馬定邦課題組聚焦于晝夜節(jié)律研究領(lǐng)域的前沿科學(xué)問題,以果蠅和小鼠為模型,結(jié)合生物信息學(xué)、分子生物學(xué)以及動物行為學(xué)等,深入研究節(jié)律神經(jīng)元在單細(xì)胞水平基因表達(dá)的時空異質(zhì)性;解析核心生物鐘調(diào)控細(xì)胞特異鐘控基因表達(dá)的分子機(jī)制及其在晝夜節(jié)律和睡眠-覺醒過程中的生理功能;探究晝夜節(jié)律紊亂與神經(jīng)退行性疾病的關(guān)系等。
